Officevisits2010
As part of their Office Visit subject, the 3rd year graduating class is required to tour different factories and offices that are related to information technology and those that employ deaf people.
This school year, they were able to visit ten companies. Among them are private companies like GMA Network Center, TOEI Animation Studios, Bayantel Communications, Gardenia Food Corporation, Lucky Me Factory and Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines. Among government offices include Commission on Information and Communications Technology, National Telecommunications Commission, Central Bank Museum and Malacanang Palace. They also had a side trip at the world famous Picnic Grove in Tagaytay City.
“Office Visits” is one of the important subjects in students’ curriculum. Its main objective is for them to experience first-hand how a particular company operates and what work environment surrounds a deaf person. Aside from that, they may have an opportunity to be accepted by those companies that they visited.

You will see the usual sites inside a Radio/TV company like studios, newsroom, radio stations and if you’re lucky, you can get a glimpse of an ongoing taping of a tv program. You will also get to meet some GMA artists. In NTC, you will just see the government offices. But what would interest you are the explanations and lectures about cellphone issues like reporting text harrassments/villifications, recover of lost cellphones, etc.
