For the first time in nearly 15 years of its existence, MCCID visited Baguio City and campaigned to fourth year students last February 23.

Mr. Jojo Esposa, MCCID Training Director together with Ervin Reyes, Deaf Coordinator, trekked the high lands of majestic Baguio City to introduce the school to two private institutions for the deaf. These are San Lorenzo Ruiz Institute Catholic SPED School (SLRICSS) located in Bakakeng Sur and Baguio School for the Deaf in Mines View Park, the oldest existing deaf school up North. The school's heads were very accommodating in letting MCCID campaign inside their rooms.

Since it started, MCCID has graduated more than 20 deaf residents from Northern Luzon. Four current students namely Jerome Marzan, Lorenzo Baraoil Jr., Jay-R Belen and Grace Anne Pico are from Baguio City.
