In line with the school’s thrust in educating academics as well as spiritual and emotional well-being of the deaf, MCCID again held its 10th Valentine’s day program last February 16 at MCCID Lecture Hall.

For the first time, a medical professional was this year’s special guest speaker. Ms. Veronica V. Panelo is a private nurse, alternative medicine consultant and program development specialist of “Haplos Buhay Holistic Healing Center” organization. She spoke about the importance of communication in any relationship. She also emphasizes on the right self evaluation about what someone truly feels towards the opposite sex. A person must distinguish whether he/she considers him/her as a friend, a lover or just feels lustful. He/she must also be careful in identifying his or her real feelings.

After the lecture, the usual “It’s a Date Game”, “ABC of Love Question Game”, “Act-Out-Love Game” and “Valentine Bookmark Exchanges” were also held. Jerome Marzan chose Madonna Hermosura as his partner-date while Pia Joy Matias chose Mark Sampang. Kristel Daine Orteza won P150 in “ABC of Love Game” while Jefferson Roxas and Katrina Paola Suva gave their best acting in “Act-Out-Love Game”. All wearing red dress, everybody had a great time.
