MCCID Celebrates 11th Valentine Program

Now on its eleventh year, MCCID College again held its Valentine’s day program last February 21 at MCCID Lecture Hall with Sir Oscar Purificacion as a special resource lecturer.

Before the lecture, the usual “It’s a Date Game”, “ABC of Love Question Game”, “Valentine Exchange of Hearts” and “Valentine Bookmark Exchanges” were also held. All wearing red dress, everybody had a great time. This year’s theme is “Friendship, Love, Courtship, Marriage and Sex the Christian Deaf Way“. Sir Jojo Esposa together with Sir Jefferson Cortez assisted in some of the games.

A new activity, a short video presentation of love-comedy-fantasy was shown to the audience. Titled “Deaf Butterfly”, the film was about two unattractive star-crossed lovers who are deaf students had an unusual experience which immediately changed their lives. The short-movie was written and directed by Gibson Cruz and Princess Pagaoa. They are also the main characters and were supported by the whole 3rd year Diploma in Arts and Computer Design students. This activity is part of their Digital Video Editing class under Sir Ervin Reyes.
