General Rules and Procedures:
SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
I. ACADEMIC
A. SCHOOL ATTENDANCE
- All students are required to complete 54 hours for one subject in one semester.
- A maximum of nine (9) continuous absences shall only be allowed in one semester for all courses.
- Any student who added more than nine (9) absences in one subject or course gets a final grade of DROPPED. But if the student informs the Registrar about reason for his/her absences, he/she may be accepted to the next scheduled course or subject. All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE (can’t be returned) and NON-TRANSFERRABLE (cannot be transferred to another student).
- The school follows the TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (TESDA) announcement of cancellation or suspension of classes due to typhoon, strikes or any incidents. Make-up classes are allowed only on Saturdays with the request of the instructor.
- The school is not too strict on the tardiness (lateness) of the student. But lateness must not be always and does not bother the class order.
- If the instructor is absent in his class, the Registrar’s Office will inform the students and is responsible for deciding whether they will continue the class with a substitute teacher or they may be allowed to go home.
- Students should submit their class cards to their instructors on the first day of every class. They should also have their instructors sign on their Registration Forms so that they will be officially enrolled in the subject.
- The student must inform both his instructor and the School Registrar if he likes to change his subject or class schedule so as not to disarrange the class set-up.
B. STUDENT’S REQUIREMENTS
- All students are required to attend and complete all the requirements of the subjects they are enrolled in.
- A student who does not complete the requirements of a subject/course within the regular time of the term shall be given a grade of INCOMPLETE (INC). NO FINAL (NF) grade will be given to student who did not take the final test.
- He must complete those subjects but not later than one year from the time he took it. If the student did not complete it, he will repeat the whole subject.
- A student who received a FAILED grade on any subject needs to repeat the subject.
- He has to pay the same tuition fee for the subject(s) he failed but not including the miscellaneous fees.
- The student has to experience the same things as with regular students. He may take other subjects that are not a requirement to the subjects(s) he failed.
- Students take three examinations per semester — PRELIM, MIDTERM and FINALS for a 54-hour subject while only MIDTERM and FINALS for a 27-hour subject.
- They are required to get examination permits per subject using test booklets. They are not allowed to take the tests if they don’t get the permits. They pay for the test booklets and computer printouts (P 4.00/page for Windows character based and P 20.00 for Windows graphics).
- Students who did not get the examination permits are NOT ALLOWED TO ATTEND THEIR CLASS on the next day. They need to complete the payment or talk to the Registrar about it.
- Final grade is computed from the sum total of the examinations, projects or actual hands-on performance skills. The instructor will then write the computed grades the Grade Report Form and the class cards will be submitted to the Registrar for approval. Class cards will then be given back to the students for their own record.
- The student, after they complete the course, may request and pay for his CAREER DEVELOPMENT DIPLOMA, Transcript of Records and Honorable Dismissal. The Registrar’s Office will then evaluate the records and inform the students of his lacking and incomplete requirements. He must get them on the next two Saturdays after the date the request is made.
