SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS (continuation)



II. COMPUTER, LIBRARY AND OTHER LABORATORIES
  1. School ID’s should be properly pinned at all times including inside the computer laboratories. NO ID means NO ENTRY and NO COMPUTER HANDS - ON.
  2. A student MUST LOG-ON to the computer every time he uses the computer. He MUST USE THE ASSIGNED LOGIN NAME and password, which is his ID NUMBER. They cannot use the computer if they entered an wrong login name and password.
  3. The student is not allowed to use the names and passwords of other students. If he/she is caught using other names, the school will punish him by not using computers for one (1) week.
  4. Students are NOT ALLOWED to enter the room nor use any facilities and equipment without their instructor or school administrators.
  5. Due to the increasing destructive powers unleashed by the latest computer viruses and the constant upgrading of computers in the laboratory, ALL THE DISKETTES AND COMPACT DISCS THAT WILL BE USED WILL COME ONLY FROM THE SCHOOL. At the start of the class, the students must get their own diskettes from their instructor. Before they leave the laboratory, they must give their diskettes back to their instructor for safe keeping. They cannot use any diskettes that were used by others before nor used in other places.
  6. Second year students or other MCCID students that are in possession of diskettes that were used during their previous classes can still use their diskettes. But they must re-format them.
  7. Classes at the computer laboratory should leave the room immediately after their class to give way to the next hands-on class. Students who like to use the computer after their class will be charged P20.00/hour. Only the instructor can operate the printer. Refer to item #7 group I for printout rates.
  8. Students can borrow books, magazines and other reading materials in the library if they make a request in the office and sign the Borrower’s Slip. All books must not be brought outside the school premises.
  9. The Mini-library is used for reading books and doing homework. It should not be used for chatting or any other purposes.
  10. No student is allowed to bring other persons to sit in his class nor stay in the mini-library. His companion should wait for the student at the lobby or ground floor waiting area.
  11. Students must enter the Registrar's Office only if they are doing official business. Otherwise, they must not be allowed to stay in the office for a long time.
III. ADMINISTRATIVE
  1. Students must always behave properly while inside the school premises. Smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, bringing in prohibited drugs and deadly weapons and organizing fraternities and gangs are not allowed. Any student caught having those things, causing fights that lead to disturbance of classes, after careful investigation, may be removed from school.
  2. The students should strictly obey the school's policy on tuition fee payment. They are not allowed to take examinations nor continue with their class if they will not pay for their tuition fees. A STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS will be given to the students one week before every 15 days.
  3. School ID’s must be properly pinned at all times.
  4. ALL students must wear their prescribed uniforms daily. Female students must wear proper make up to improve their personality. Colored or long hairs, beards and earrings for male students are not allowed. Students must also wear MCCID PE t-shirts during Physical Education classes.
  5. Loitering, vandalizing and littering along lobbies, classrooms, corridors and PE grounds are strictly prohibited.
  6. Textbooks, manuals, worksheets, coding forms, diskettes, drawing plates, school uniforms and other school supplies ARE REQUIRED to be bought at the schools’ mini-bookstore. Textbooks, manuals and school uniforms are included in their tuition fee and will be provided by the school.
  7. Students must not transact any business with their instructors or any other school personnel like loaning money, selling or borrowing things, etc. The school is not responsible for any illegal transactions made.
  8. Students can use the lockers for a fee provided that they sign the Contract of Use and follow its rules. The locker rental fee is P200.00 per semester to be paid after the signing of the contract.
  9. Only instructors and school personnel are allowed to turn on or touch the Air-conditioning units, network server, photocopier, fax machine and other school equipment.
  10. Both students and instructors must join in all school activities.
  11. Students are not allowed to attend seminars, programs, sports competition or other activities inside or outside the school premises without the approval and a written letter of permission coming from the school administration.
IV. BEHAVIOR AND OTHERS
  1. Students must show respect their teachers and fellow classmates. They must greet them at all times. They must avoid teasing and gossiping against them.
  2. Use of cell phones or any other mobile equipment is strictly prohibited inside the classroom as it may disrupt classes.
  3. Shouting and mouthing words while inside the classroom is not allowed.
  4. All Deaf students have their own sign names. They should not be offensive or insulting to the Deaf.
  5. Signing between glass windows during classes is not allowed.
  6. Students must avoid showing affection among boy and girl relationships while inside the class.
  7. Eating inside the classroom is prohibited. They must eat outside or in the mini-canteen.
  8. Deaf students must avoid touching or harassing their classmates especially the girls.
  9. Manila Christian, although a Christian school, does not discriminate nor prohibit students from practicing their own religious beliefs and teachings. But the school encourages the students to seek and know its philosophy and aim, that is, to help improve their lives through quality education and at the same time, learn to have a personal relationship with the Savior, Jesus Christ.
